In Elaia, Amir Swaab unveils a collection of character pieces for violin, cello, and piano. These new compositions intertwine tradition and innovation, giving rise to melodies that are both original and timeless. The music is poetic, atmospheric, and inviting, while offering harmonic richness and profound depth.

Elaia is a rare homage to melody and harmony: new musical narratives voiced through a universal musical language. This is music that seeks not to fracture, but to heal; not to confront, but to connect. Through Elaia, Amir Swaab aspires to renew the timeless power of music — drawing new possibilities from an ancient source.

Composer

Amir Swaab previously wrote songs and film music. His melodies have been heard in football stadiums, theaters, and around campfires. Ultimately, however, his musical journey led him back to where it all began: classical music. “In the language of classical music, I can tell stories that go deeper than other styles allow.” Out of the longing for the music he himself wished to hear came Elaia: personal compositions in which the richness of tradition merges with the present.
